Over the course of the next six (6) months, the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency (FPRA) will be collaborating with both public and private partners to update the Community Redevelopment Plan which addresses new and emerging issues and opportunities within the City of Fort Pierce Redevelopment Area.
The Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency (FPRA) was established in 1982 to guide the city in its redevelopment efforts. The purpose of the FRPA is to revitalize both the physical and economic environment within the Redevelopment Area. Currently, the FPRA's Governing Body consists of:

Last revised in 2001, the City of Fort Pierce Community Redevelopment Plan is being updated to reflect the newest challenges and opportunities currently facing your Redevelopment Area. This Plan will primarily address existing conditions within the Redevelopment Area and provide Goals, Objectives, Policies, and Projects that will guide future redevelopment within your community.
The Fort Pierce Community Redevelopment Plan Update process is comprised of the following tasks:
a. Kick Off and Data Review (May 2019)
b. Public Involvement (June - July 2019)
c. Plan Review & Update (June - August 2019)
d. Extension of Operational Timeframe (September - October 2019)
e. CRA Plan Adoption (November - December 2019)
